Google Quality Raters to Improve Search Results

    

 In a way to improve the quality of its search results, Google has been working  to designate or flag content as upsetting or offensive.

               Google will bring on board "Quality raters" as contractors to form a team called Review team.This group will be responsible for surfing through through websites bringing to notice questionable content , including some sort of age limited videos.

              With the change, content that include racial, caste-based or gender offensive comments would now get flagged under the new category called "upsetting-offensive" .this will help in preventing the dissemination of such content that promotes violence against a specific group of people based on their caste or any other criteria.

              While flagging something it won't affect the search result themselves. it is used to enhance the company's software so that the better content are received as a higher ranking, if appears to any issue content on that, it leads to pushing down the content or it has other questionable attributes, apart from the issue are show at the top of the results.
