World has moved on to different level on gaming devices like PS3, XBOX, etc but if you want to play old games you have to come down to the old console like PS2 no worries, now you don't have to buy play station 2 since you already got your Xbox and stuff i have solution for you, this post will show you how to play PS2 in your laptop or PC

Thing you need :

PCSX2 Play station 2 emulator.

Play Station 2 Game CD

Wired USB Game Gamepad Joystick

How To:

At you can download PCSX2 game emulator from their official website https://pcsx2.net/

after downloading install it, great now move on to the next step you will a need a PS2 game disk which can be anything for example god of war 1 or god of war 2 anything but the trick part once you insert your CD into your lap/PC you have copy the data in image recorder which is easy Nero start smart a picture will shown you how....

After when disk copy is complete you'll get your game file in ISO file format which helps the PCSX2 to emulate the play in your PC/Laptop .

Now we move on to the next part , you have PCSX2 installed , a game file and a joystick.All w have to do is connect all three thing together .

You have to configure your joystick in PCSX2

open PCSX2 >config>controllers(PAD)>Pug in settings

It will show you lilypad setting, in that you have to configure your joystick it's simple connect your joystick in PC/Laptop on the lilypad setting on right side it will show you keys used in PS2 games.
No you have to sync the joystick and keys in PCSX2 by clicking on the specific key on lilypad wizard and click the exact specific key on your joystick for example click L1 ON Lily pad setting and press L1 on your joystick, click triangle on your lily pad setting and press triangle on your joystick the list goes on, simultaneously you can see the changes on right side of lilypad setting wiz.
After completing all the keys click apply and then OK now your joystick in configured.

Almost finished now open PCSX2 go to CDVD>ISO selector in that if you are using it for the first time you have to browse and select the ISO file which we have copied from CD. you must have stored in a specific location.
